The Barbara Clevenger Johnson Art Gallery first opened its doors on May 1, 2007, as part of the Roxy Theatre renovation project, made possible through the vision and hard work of the Fire Mountain Arts Council and many generous donations.
Renovations to the theatre and gallery are still underway, but with the first phase nearly completed, we are at long last able open our facility to both the public and to our artists.
Our gallery is always open during Roxy Playhouse performances so check us out during your visits. Our regular gallery hours are Wednesday thru Saturday from 10-4 pm. Monday and Tuesdays by appointment. Group tours of the Gallery and Roxy Theater are always welcomed. Call to arrange.
